I would humbly suggest the (fairly) new Insomnia -- better lighting, good coyote dancers (available to barfine), and some presentable, predatory ladies looking to enjoy an evening. I was impressed, after enjoying the LA club scene for many years (I know there's no comparison, but I spotted several elements I liked.) I experienced a very similar vibe — loved the music and crowd at Marine, but difficult to pull (only because lights are low and there is an increased danger of bringing home something that will not look familiar in the bright afternoon light).

I got up early since I calculated that the more time I had the more chances I had to get laid. First stop though was to get something to eat and catch up on email/blog. The reason I stay at the Rising Sun is that it is a short walk to Shenanigans by the Marriott. They have free wifi but a wacky breakfast that they only serve until 12. I just don’t get not having breakfast all day. Anyway - I snarfed on some wifi, downed some coffee and defended myself against a constant barrage of questions regarding when and if I would eat. Seems having coffee and using the airwaves is against protocol. They need to wake up and smell the internet age. Coffee down I txtd my location to the cowboy and I headed off to see if anything would stir my juices at the Tahitian Queen. I like TQ because they are open early, it feels like night time once inside, they have a no girls allowed policy, they have few(not many) daytime cuties and they have short time facilities on site. I had one drink, surveyed the possibilities and decided to move on. At the end of the night, we might go our separate way, or she may come back to my room for sleep only, or it might morph into sex. If there's sex, there will be the appropriate tip; if no sex, no tip (other than a little pocket money for a taxi). A barfine shouldn't mean an obligation for sex for either the punter or the lady. However, both parties should make it clear what they are looking for prior to the arrangement so there is no disappointment on either side.
