Suthisan is a small group of GoGo bars on Suthisan Rd. near the Saphan Khwai BTS stopi.
I had my handheld GPS with me during my last visit and recorded the latitude and longitude. You can cut and paste the coordinates into the search box at maps.google.com and the exact location will come up on the map.

I was told that it used to be an area that catered to U.S. servicemen during the Vietnam war but today it has a 99% Thai clientele.
The good news about the Suthisan GoGo’s is that because there are almost no farang customers, most of the short term scamming endemic in Soi Cowboy, Nana, and Patpong is absent. In several trips, I have never encountered any bill padding, etc. With a Thai clientele, the bars can’t get away with the everyday shit that management pulls on newbies in the farang GoGo’sii.
The second good thing about the Suthisan GoGo’s is the girls. There are no TG’s over 30 and probably none over 25. There are no TG’s with cottage cheese stomach’s and I would guess that way fewer girls have had kids than at the average farang GoGo.
In fact, it might be prudent to check the ID’s of a good number of the girls to make sure they are 18 before banging them. On my most recent Suthisan trip there were quite a few TG’s who looked and acted like they were very young. If you are into banging slim hot teenage girls or at least girls that look and act like teenagers Suthisan is the place to go.
I didn’t see any fake boobs during my last Suthisan visit which isn’t surprising given the pricing. The small Suthisan ST Fees are probably not sufficient to pay off a boob job with the extra business plastic boobs might generate.
Taste’s and opinions vary but IMHO, the girls at the two main GoGo’s are a cut above the average girls in Soi Cowboy and Nanaiii. About half the Suthisan girls would be stunners at Rainbow 4.
I went to Baccara the night after going to Suthisan, and I would say as a group the girls at the two main Suthisan GoGo’s are better looking than the Baccara girls—-if you are into the teenage look. The girls also appear to have a lot less mileage on them than a significant portion of the farang GoGo girls and are not as heavily made up as the downstair Baccara TG’s.
“Fresh” might be the right adjective to use here.
The really good thing about the Suthisan GoGo’s is the pricing. If you are a Cheap Charlie Suthisan is your place.
Heinekens are 140 THB for the large bottles which are equivalent to 2 regular bottles. You can order one bottle and share it between friends to further reduce the cost.
If you want a girl to sit with you it costs 80THB per half hour. This is comparable to Soi Cowboy where typical ladydrinks are around 150THB and it is uncommon for a Soi Cowboy girl to be happy sitting with you for an hour if you only buy her one ladydrink.
Unlike the farang GoGo’s once you pay the fee, the girl is not free to leave. You buy the drink and she sits with you for the allotted time—the same system used at G-Clubsiv.
Best of all, the girls go for 1500THB short time with no negotiating. You pay the bar 1500 THB and that includes the barfine and the girl’s fee. The girl keeps 750 THB as her fee. It is up to you whether you want to add a tip on top. Given the distance between Suthisan and Sukhumvit, this is one time where giving the girl 100THB for a taxi is warranted.
There are 5 or 6 GoGo’s on the short stretch of Suthisan but only two are worth visiting. They are the For You and the Sic VDO clubv.
Neither of these places have luxurious interiors. In fact, both are pretty run down and dirty—but what do you want when you are slumming?
If you feel a cockroach crawling up your leg at one of these GoGo’s you probably are not imagining it. Most likely an actual cockroach is crawling up your leg and it is most likely a big one.
There are only squat toilets at both these venues so unless yoga is your favorite pastime, it is best to take care of business before you head out to Suthisan.
I didn’t think to check but toilet paper is probably not provided. If you are a boy scout pack some Charmin for your Suthisan expedition or be prepared to go Arab for the night, i.e. only eat and shake hands with the right and be meticulous to use the left for wiping you ass sans toilet paper.
There are two downsides to Suthisan.
The first is the girl selection. The two main GoGo’ probably have about 80 girls working. This is not a large number and if you don’t find a girl among this limited universe you are stuck a long way from farangland.
The second is personal safety. The inside of the clubs appeared and felt safe during my last visit and Suthisan Rd. is pretty busy with taxis constantly driving by, but you are a long way from Kansas. Those with experience would probably feel comfortable going to Suthisan alone but it would probably be prudent for a newbie not to get too drunk if he is on a solo Suthisan run.
If you are feeling jaded or bored with farang GoGo’s or the banging budget is nearly depleted a Suthisan run might be in order.

It might be prudent to mention knowing at least some basic thai will go a long way in a Soi like this. Yes there are papasans and girls who speak english but don’t count on it.

s - when I first went to this area about 5 years ago I felt unwelcome but my thai sucked and I did not know how to react to the place. I also felt it was a little dirty.
I remember I brought up this place with some MP thai and farang guys who I go out with to member clubs and they all commented on the type of Thai guys who frequent this place and the cleanliness of the girls as being suspect as well.
I have no evidence so not being alarmist but I just think the place is little rundown and not my idea of fresh meat.

It’s almost a year and a half since I was there, but I certainly saw several over-30s, and most girls were nowhere near Rainbow 4 calibre, at least in my opinion. I felt there was a slightly hostile vibe towards us in some places, from the Thai customers rather than staff.
Like any venue in Bangkok though, a year is a very long time. It certainly sounds like the quality of girls has changed for the better since my last visit, and perhaps a few other things have changed as well.
There were definitely way more than 6 bars there when I went - I named five in my review, and there were several we didn’t visit - perhaps many have closed. I also don’t remember being charged for having girls sit with me. But then I can’t say I recall that ever happening to me in G-clubs either - let’s not have that argument again
Good to see the price for short-time is one of the things that hasn’t changed (1,500), and beer has only gone up to 140 from 120 which isn’t bad for a large bottle. I was told that long-time was 2,000, but do check with your waitress…

Nice submission. I am always so happy to read submissions about parts of town not normally frequented by westerners. In the 13 years I have lived in/visited Thailand almost 100% of the really nice gals I have met have been from outside the mainstream areas.
I visit Saphan Kwai gogos 3 or 4 times a year and am happy to add my opinions:
1)I agree that only 2 or 3 of the places are worth visiting
2)I speak Thai well and I would STRONGLY recommend at least one guy in your group speak at least passable Thai-and that goes for anyplace outside the “farang” areas
3)Beer is very cheap and as with any place not frequented by farangs the gals are much more polite
4)I dont think there are that many gals who would stand out if working at Rainbow4. True that there are not many with babies(virtually NO Asian man would pay to have sex with a gal who has had a baby)but the general level of beauty is only fair. I did manage to meet a few stunners and the service was excellent.
5)At first there was a bit of hostility from some Thai men. Just smile and be calm. I dont blame them one bit. When they think farangs are discovering their favorite hangout it is the same feeling many westerners would feel if your favorite pub began filling up with Arabs.
If you speak a little Thai and enjoy meeting gals who havent been “ruined” yet, I think these bars make a good nigth out.

Ato - I yearn for an ethical brotherhood of mongers. After all, we’re all here for the same thing and we should be judged by the way we behave as individuals, not by pre-conceived notions linked to the colour of our skin.
Too often in Thailand you see the Eurofarang scowling at the Chocolateman, the Anglofarang scowling at the Japanese, and everybody swapping evils with the Arabs. It seems particularly bad at airports, on the way in and on the way out.
Going back to the point I had no idea there was a p4p area in Saphan Kwai. For various reasons I found myself at that BTS stop on three consecutive days last visit, and the only girls I saw were the ’special’ one who ’sings’ for her dinner by the soi dogs, and a schoolie who plays the violin badly. I got a foot massage at the nice salon nearby in desperation. Now I have coordinates - nice.

In Pattaya too you see some suspiciously young looking girls… but it can be hard to tell, what with some thai girls being naturally so small as well. My mate pulled one who was literally size zero with real tiny little tits and narrow hips - and if I hadn’t seen her in the light there was no way I would have believed she was 25.

I used to live a short distance from the sutthisan bars. IMHO they are okay. i’ve never had a problem with the management and the girls seemed quite fun. another plus is that there are a pretty good number of short time hotels nearby on Pradipat road. one i know of has pretty good selection of hardcore porno channel on the tv in the bathtub.
short time fee’s set me back 1500 while the long time was no more than 2500 all included. the girls were a bit conservative and were a bit shy of the of giving a rubberless bj which was a bit of a letdown. the Harlem club there also has a lesbian clam eating show.
i stayed away from Inter club after i saw the big gathoey candlewax nipple burning show.

My place is not far from here and I can substantiate most of what you write with my experience. Particularly, I have never seen any kettle drums or cottage cheese when I go by either - Thai men are not going to entertain that and they do want the younger look too.
As far as comparisons between the farang bar areas and Saphan Kwai goes, that is tough. Both are highly variable and beauty is in the eye of the beerholder after all.
Good to have some variety, but some language skills are essential in my view

Interesting and appreciated report on the Suttisan bars and how they operate. I knew the bars existed, but never went, or knew they had a fixed price service.
I like the concept of a fixed, known price for services, similar to Pattaya Soi 6 and Angeles City. The same, reasonable price for all ladies, from the oldest, fattest ones, to the cutest, sexiest ones.
And I am finding that the Soi 6 and AC girls I go with consistently give good service, unlike the gogo ladies, who seem more and more unreliable, not to mention often expecting large tips for very short times.

Maybe… for borderline peds for all I know. Shame for me I guess because I was looking forward to visiting there sometime soon.

I was at the same go go at the same time as BigBabyKenny and I saw the same girls. I’d say that out of the many go go bars in the area, Kenny is right that there were only two that appealed to me. One of them (For Love) was reasonably clean by go go standards, though the seats were in pretty poor nick. The second place (Sic VDO Club) was grimy even by go go bar standards.
As to the girls: my opinion was more muted than Kenny’s. I thought that the girls at SicVDO were about an average crew that would not look out of place in nearly any go go bar in Nana or Cowboy.
I thought that the crew at FOR YOU was better (and I visited there 3 nights in a row as it happens). They probably had 30 to 40 girls working, and I would have said that at least 6 of them could have adorned the chrome poles at Rainbow 4, but that even the more ‘average’ ones tended to be under 25 years old and none of them seemed to have had a baby before.
So, while not an oasis in the desert, it has one or two bars that might be worth the effort to visit, along with another half dozen or more that have little to recommend them. The main reason to venture over to Sutisan Road is really variety. It’s not so much what it IS as what it isn’t: it ISN’T one more night in Nana-Cowboy-Patpong.

I hate to double-post but it has been more than 24 hours so I think that’s acceptable under the terms & conditions of the site.
Just wanted to say that I ended up out at Sutisan Road AGAIN last night, this time my wingman was a longtime Thailand monger visiting Saphan Kwai for the first time. His stated opinion on the girls at FOR YOU club was the same as Kenny’s; he felt that they would look at home in Rainbow 4.
We also went in the other large club, and reading the signs written in Thai posted above the toilet made me realize that the name of the club is “Music VDO Club” and that the reported name of “Sic VDO” is actually due to an electrical short in the neon sign.
There was a lot of action in the Music VDO club after midnight last night with a nude lesbian show onstage and a couple of nude lap dances happening in the booths. At 1 am they started playing BINGO, which was a go go bar first for me. We left soon after the shout of BINGO! came up from the crowd around 1:15, so I don’t know if the prize was a lapdance or a rice cooker.
There were a number of hot-bodies on display in Music VDO last night as well.

I am regretting I ever wrote this post.
It is sort of like when a great neighborhood restaurant gets a rave review in a national newspaper from a famous restaurant critic.
The place gets inundated with new customers, you can’t get a reservation anymore, prices go up, and quality and portion size goes down.
The next thing you know the great little neighborhood restaurant with delicious food, great service, and reasonable prices has gone all to shit and isn’t worth eating at anymore.
I had a nightmare last night where I went to Suthisan and instead of a couple of cool GoGo’s filled with hot young fresh TG’s with perky breasts and tiny but tight shapely bottoms, grateful to get paid 80THB to sit with me, and overjoyed to be barfined and banged all night for 1500THB (only 750 of which they keep), the place was full of fat, hairy, smelly, old white men in tattered stained cargo shorts, threadbare holey tank tops, and worn dirty flip flops with their yellow unclipped toenails and black smelly feet on display.
Worst of all, the fresh hot girls had been replaced with a lineup of middle aged dried out jerky skinned saggy breasted loud mouthed women with cottage cheese stomachs, droopy asses, missing teeth, and multiple faded tattoos demanding 4000THB for short time.
So I would like to retract portions of my original post.
The Suthisan GoGo girls are not really that young, fresh or good looking. None of them could work at Shark Bar, Baccara, or Rainbow 4. They just aren’t good looking enough.
In fact, the Suthisan GoGo girls would probably have a hard time surviving economically as Nana Parking Lot girls.
The Suthisan neighborhood is very dangerous and only a fool would go there alone or without a gun for protection.
When you get inside all the Thai dudes give you mean looks all night and there is a good chance they will wait outside when you leave and try to rob you.
It is a long long long way to Suthisan from Sukhumvit and it is just not worth the time or money to taxi all the way out there.

Like WW, I’ll break the double posting rule with some additional information about the pricing.
I talked to one of the regular Mango posters who has been to Suthisan and he told me that the 1500THB ST fee includes the girls time sitting with you.
So if pick a girl, have her sit with you and don’t barfine her you have to pay the 80/140THB time charge.
If you eventually barfine her, the time fee’s are taken off your bill. They are included in the 1500 THB.

Wow, Thanks for the review. I was there end of May 08, but only manage to explore one bar which I think is either RCA or RCA 2. Spot 2-3 hotties out of 12-15. quite a good ratio
Drink was cheap, a big bottle of 100pipers on offer, only 199b, how the hell can I finish that bottle?? Ended up ordered a big bottle of Leo for 120b or 140b (can’t remember) and order a LD for a lady to sit with me, intro by papasan, wasn’t too keen with that girl (not a stunner) but ok since I can get a girl to ask some questions about the setup, how the thing run etc. Was told 1500b bar fine to bring the girl out.
Inside the bar, the decoration is like those corner coffee shops, as good as no air-con, even on the stage where the girls dance, they install fan and the girls keep standing below it.. lol
Anyway, I will pay this area another visit again to see the two bar you posted and maybe bar fine 1-2 from there. 555

Walked down this road some years ago but didn’t go in. Looked a touch classier than the gogos at the rear of Imperial World Samrong. Anyone been there recently? I haven’t been for about 6 years.
Used to be 10-12 really grubby places along a dirt road where 1 or 2 girls would dance for a couple of songs before switching over. The interiors were dark and intimidating with Nazi party flags next to flags of all nations but the girls virtually never saw farang customers and did tricks upstairs for 500 baht (the price has probably gone up a bit by now if they still exist). I never went with one although I met a few nice ones.
You would certainly need to speak Thai in these places. I was originally taken there by a Thai guy but had a bit of hostility from the local guys on one or two subsequent trips.
I remember one girl with about 3 teeth trying to give me a BJ at 8am outside a bar when local office workers were waiting for the bus about 2 metres away. Not a place to go for hot chicks but an experience you’ll never forget, if all for the wrong reasons.

On Sukhumvit, past BangNa. It’s on the other side of the road from soi 111 about 50 metres further along. It’s actually in Samut Prakarn province. There’s also a Thai Boxing stadium in the area, a bunch of cheap bars in the basement of the shopping centre (that’s if it hasn’t closed down by now) and it’s easy to pick up the girls working in the shops - “What time do you finish work?”…. “6 o’clock”….”See you at 6 then”…..”Okay”.
The gogo type bars are (were?) in a dodgy road behind the shopping centre. If you are facing the shopping centre walk right for about 50-80 metres and take the first left. The bars are scattered around the roads down there. There also used to be one actually on Sukhumvit, just over the bridge past Imperial World and another couple down a side road next to it - the girls in these ones were a bit smarter than the others - took one of the girl’s phone numbers once but never bothered calling. During the day these bars are difficult to spot but at night they are obvious.
Haven’t been there in years but last time I went I took a bunch of seasoned mongers with me and they were a bit shocked. However, one of them got over the shock pretty quickly and took one of these girls to a nearby short time hotel for a couple of hundred baht.

No, I know my Swastikas, both the good luck and the Jew-gassing varieties. These were Nazi party flags, black Swastika on a white circle with a red/orange background.
I believe the word Sawastika from Sanskrit is the basis for the Thai “Sawas Dee” or “Sawat Dee” whichever you prefer.
