One nice thing about China is that the there is no culture of political correctness.
Chinese people are forced into brainwashing camps labeled as public schools where the Communist Party indoctrinates a bankrupt ideology and teaches a fictional version of history to support it. There is no free speech so the government regularly, routinely, and cavalierly jails, executes and beats down and murders ordinary people with the audacity to express an opinion about the Communist Parties edicts, rules, and policies, but when it comes to women, ethnic minorities and racial sub groups, it is perfectly OK to express and discuss stereotypes not matter disparaging in polite company–stereotypes and broad opinions about groups of people that would get them ostracized in The World.
Most of the times these politically incorrect opinions contain a large measure of truth and are quite humorous.
From my contact with Chinese women the unofficial hierarchy and stereotype of Chinese Chicks is:
- Taiwanese Babes—generally considered the best looking, most cultured, and most desirable but difficult to get because they look down on mainlanders as uncultured nouveau rich yahoos. This probably explains the Communist Chinese obsession with annexing Taiwian–would you want to lose the province where all the good looking girls are? Sort of like the USA losing California and Hawaii and the men being left with only the XXL heifers of the Midwest and South—not a pleasant prospect and definitely something worth going to war over. ☺
- Beijing Babes-Tall, good looking model types who have had a lot of surgery to enhance their looks but when they open their mouths they make people cringe. They speak Chinese way too loudly, coarsely, and crudely, yelling everything at the top of their voices and generally saying the wrong thing at the wrong times—sort of like Brigitte Bardot. If you don’t know what I am talking about Google Brigitte Bardot and check out the recent news stories.
- Shanghainese Girls-the ball busters of Chinese Chicks. Good looking and cultured but proud of the fact they can bring any guy to heel. If you are a mama’s boy looking for a mother surrogate and don’t mind giving your paycheck to your wife/GF and receiving a small allowance every week Shanghainese Girls are for you. Most of the successful Chinese dominatrix’s are probably from Shanghai.
- Southern Girls-short, brown, low fat, good hearted and, generally shunned by the hoity toity. These are the girls you don’t want to bring home to meet mother—the Issan girls of China. Just like the Issan girls of Thailand, these Southern Chinese Girls are probably the most fun and the best bangers.
I am not sure where the Honk Kong gals fit in but I did notice that they try to maintain their place in the hierarchy by claiming all mainlanders are “dirty”—meaning guys should stick with nice clean sanitary Hong Kong girls if they don’t want to contract AIDS, Herpes, or genital warts.
There has got to be good comic book here—where some evil scientist creates Super Chinese Babe by cross breeding and combining the best of each type of Chinese girl—except, of course, something goes horribly wrong and the prototype with the looks of a Beijing babe, the culture and breeding of a Taiwan chick, the sex drive and enthusiasm for banging of a Southern Girl somehow ends up with the Super Ball Busting Drive of a ten Shanghainese Girls.
In successive comics, Evil Super Chinese Babe travels the world entrancing, bedding and ball busting all the rich and famous men—Bill Gates, Ted Turner, Tom Cruise (not much balls left to bust after the Scientologists got through with him), Dick Cheney (he dies from his weak heart while getting banged cowboy style), etc. etc., and taking all their money, sucking out all their creativity, drive, and entrepreneurial spirit and leaving them shattered hulks.
In the climactic installment Super Chinese Babe gets drugged and injected with concentrated Thai Issan Girl extract and ends up barefoot in a rice paddy in Khorat with 5 kids and a 5 ft. tall Tuk Tuk driving Thai boyfriend who sends her to the Thermae during the high season and pimps her out to Japanese Tourists who take her home night after night after night– where she is in hell on Earth because she never gets to orgasm because the Japanese dudes always prematurely ejaculate and she ends up old and hagged out hustling lady drinks and BJ’s from newbie farangs as the mamasan at Tony’s Place on Soi Cowboy.
I always had a crush on the cute Taiwanese girl who is a backup singer in the band at CM2. I guess I had good taste, by Chinese standards, and never knew it.
BBK - Interesting pigeon holing of the various types of Chinese women, but I have been to Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong, and a number of other cities in Asia and I must admit my head rarely ever turned compared to when in Bangkok, especially in mainland China. I think many others will agree too, so I don’t think there is a threat of Chinese women taking over the world.
As for the Japanese guys, it is not only the premature ejaculation, but the limited size of their members that gives them a stigma. In fact, most Thai women see it as a plus though and not a minus. They now call Japanese guys the “Triple 4″. 4 centimeters, 4 seconds, and 4 thousand baht. Can’t beat that deal if you are going to Thermae to turn 3-4 tricks a night. Having spent over 10 continuous years in Taiwan, and several non-contiguous years in Beijing, Shanghai, HK & Macau - I’d say you hit the nail dead on the head! Your remark about southern Chinese girls being the Issan girls of China is an observation I’ve made myself.
I’d further comment that mainland Chinese girls are, in general, pretty damn annoying, they have terrible fashion sense, they constantly speak at full volume, and far too many of them swear like sailors (if you understand mandarin).
HK girls are notorious for being materialistic and chasing only men with money and being extremely high maintenance. 100% true, or rather, the hot ones are like that. Among the rest of them (99.9%), some can make very nice friends if you happen to work with them, but you would have to be pretty hard up to consider dating one - you can do so much better.
Taiwanese girls are absolutely the sweetest and prettiest Chinese girls - bar none. They have style, they are worldly, they have little or no attitude, and they lack the conservative background that afflicts so many Thai girls. They can be a bit clingy, like Thai women, but I happen to like that.
Funny thing I noticed — when I lived in Taiwan, I appreciated Thai girls more, and now that I live here I appreciate Taiwanese girls more. I guess it’s a case of wanting what you can’t have. I’d still be in Taiwan today if I hadn’t managed to get snagged by a Thai girl (a lovely one, I can’t complain).

This how I see it. Taiwanese girls can be pretty damn hot and from experience great in bed. Mainland Chinese girls, from my experience are not that great in bed. HK girls is like the lottery. Not a lot of lookers but when they are they are hot but with the hotness comes attitude. HK girls are better in bed than mainland girls.
Problem is - most average Thai girls with some experience are better in bed that any Chinese girl. For me - that is all that really counts.

The girls that used to go for 500 THB from the Thermae are not the girls hanging there now. The Thermae has mutated from an old white cheap Charlie hang out to a sort of hybrid where half the girls are Japanese specialists who are better looking and go for more.

In my three years here, it seems that most men (and possibly women) believe that Sichuan girls are the prettiest. I can’t confirm or deny this personally.
The only draw (for me) to Shanghai girls is that they’re used to laowai (the Chinese version of farang). Some girls from smaller provinces get a bit timid around foreigners. Among working girls, money talks of course, but in the dating scene not so much.
My favorite pro right now is from southern China and absolutely fits the description you gave.

The diversity in India - a country with over 1 billion people - doesn’t not compare with a relative small country like Thailand. India has much more diversity in its girls, mentally and physically. (In the eastern states like Assam and Manipur physically the girls resemble SE-Asian girls like the ones from Thailand.)
I spent from 1990-1995 and from 1998-2002 in Delhi and Mumbai and I can assure you that in some discotheques the relative number of absolute stunners was 100%.
However: I must admit that the average Thai girl is much more approachable and bangable than the average Indian girl. Most girls in these discotheques weren’t into “fun”.
And that was very very very frustrating, man!
So the reason that we (INCLUDING ME) all prefer the Thai girls is that banging pretty girls is much and much easier and gives much less hassle than in other countries.

First went to stay in India when I was 18. Then later in life I would travel to Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune and Delhi on a regular basis. Okay. Sure there are some clubs with some hotties. Try approaching them without getting shot down, stared at by the men or whatever. Hardly ever could close though.
Then step out of the club and the place is devoid of hotties.

Calling someone ignorant because in their opinion Indian gals are not attractive is absurd. You dont have to live in the country to have an opinion. I saw thousands of Indian gals in India, USA, England and many places that I have travelled to. I have rarely seen an attractive one, and furthermore have made the singles scene all over the globe and when the topic of hot babes comes up I have never before heard Indian gals mentioned.
