This is a small follow-up from one of our other reader posts about some after-hours stuff.
Boss club and Blur…
Boss disco appears to be in Pratunam near the Big C. Seems to go all night and is a pretty mixed scene with freelancers, couples and after-hours seekers looking to keep the vibe going late.
editor - I have yet to check this place out but I need to.
Always looking for places with fresh meat so we need to put the search
party together and find this place. Anyone have any tips?
Blur on Petchaburi 3?. I think it is soi 39 but not sure. Tons of young
Thai girls, open way late, good music and jam packed. Quite the scene
but not super Farang friendly.
editor - Been there done that. Interesting place but not for Farangs
unless you speak some Thai or need an after-hours spot to take your Thai
bird. Which is not a bad idea since it is a fun scene. I think it is
bottle service only but if you don’t finish the bottle they will keep
it for you to finish on your next trip. I think they will keep it for
30 days. The place is not super Farang friendly and I would not go
there as a group of guys to pickup because the Thai guys use this place
to take out their girls and they will not tolerate you trying to pick up
if you are blatant about it. So be smart out there boys.
Some day I will cover this to a greater extent but it pains me to see
how the Thai places can stay open late, serve underage people and
generally push most of the boundaries but yet the Farang oriented
bars/areas have there curfews enforced. Keep in mind that the drinking
laws and curfews were put in place to keep the young Thais from going
out all night and drinking but yet the only places the police enforce
these so called curfews is in the Farang areas. So fair of them.
