Greetings and Salutations. I first want to say that if any of Sarah Palin’s email that was hacked into yesterday reveals details about 3-some sex with a Moose and an ex-pimp living in Bangkok, that ex-pimp is not me…and it was not a Moose, more like a Reindeer.
Okay, with that out of the way I just wanted to give an update on what I’m feeling these days. Being involved with a few businesses here in Thailand while I still have investments in the US I can tell you that it’s a bit too “interesting”.
Thailand is always in turmoil politically and doing business here has it’s challenges. This is Thailand. I’m actually getting used to it. The benefits far outweigh the hassles. So that part of life is pretty normal.
As for the rest of the world, there’s some serious shit hitting the fan right now. I’m just hoping there aren’t too many holes for the US Government to plug up otherwise we are in for a real nasty crash. Interesting comment here from Goodwife about the financial side of this.
Things like market crashes and recessions have been coming and going for a while but these latest bailouts coupled with real estate woes have me a little concerned. I’m hoping things will slowly get back and that we don’t see a nasty ripple effect into other areas but you never know.
Given the global economic woes. Thailand’s woes, and nuclear proliferation and terrorism, these are certainly some interesting and stressful times for many.
At the risk of sounding like a hippie, I would like to suggest that we all be a little nicer to each other. It’s easy to get frustrated and depressed right now and take it out on friends, family, or even strangers. Try to resist, dig deep, and lend a helpful ear or hand if you get the chance. You may be glad you did.
Of course, a good oil massage with happy ending does a world of good as well, but reaching out can also produce a happy ending. Give it a shot. It doesn’t have to be much. A friendly chat, a smile, a courteous gesture, don’t be shy. Just do it. Let’s help each other get through these “interesting” times. Group hug. Peace out.
A few updates:
My choice Rainbow pick but been so steady and so much bar fining that if you go to late there is not much to look at. One of the cuties there now has her new sister working there. If you look hard enough you can spot the faces but one is much taller than the other. Anyway. They do go in a pair but no lesbian action.
Kicking music - almost like r3 and an okay line up but it thins out early and the mamasans annoy me here. But another option if one is into hopping around the Rainbows.
New crop of girls and the place is back to being tolerable but still nothing like its glory days. I think r4 has the worst music so I tend to not hang around as long as I might in r1 or r3.
Years ago I would practically live in this bar but those glory days are long gone. However from time to time I stop in if the place has a full lineup. On the main stage to the left there are more than a few cuties if they have not been barfined yet. Just watch out for the ladyboys and yes those 2 girls who look alike are also sisters. No word whether they are a team barfine play yet.
As Nana goes - this place has the best shows. 2 or 3 shows per night where the girls get totally naked. This is has to be the best thing going in Nana. After the shows there are 2 -3 songs and a lineup where the girls dance totally naked. On cowboy this is not saying much but for Nana this is impressive. Problem is apart from this the rest of the time in the go-go the place sucks. Add insult to injury - 160 baht drink prices and 220 baht lady drink prices. Painful. Interesting that they promote xxx shows and wine on the same poster:

1. “The first Cowboy go-go I saw, as a local friend decided I should catch the traditional banana/dart/etc shows. We arrived only minutes before a few were to start and I was duly impressed. The ‘Blow the darts out and pop balloons’ one was most impressive to me, though obviously I don’t know if it should be. Perhaps ‘Spit the banana out your pussy’ is of another class in terms of degree of difficulty. One interesting thing was watching the girls’ abs expand and compress to shoot the darts. #1 - “Hey, your bar’s on fire” - What some Punter shouted the other night at Darryl the owner of Dollhouse GoGo on Cowboy. His bar was indeed on fire. Pmmp and ssB happened to be inside too as one of the fans caught fire (Editor’s Note: No, they didn’t set it). Some guy put it out with a fire estinguisher but not before he wiped out one of the service staff who was in his way trying to fan it out with a bar towel.

#1 - SMS Games by ssB: Having lived in Thailand for some time I now I have amassed quite a few phone numbers. Bargirls, bar owners, friends and customers I meet in the Mango or out on bar crawls. I tend to save all the numbers and also have an elaborate system for filing names. I won’t get into the system but let’s just say it helps me remember who people are, where they come from or maybe what they might look like.
Being a mac head I also sync my phone using isync and my machine is backed up with TIme Machine. What this means is I have a lot of numbers and tend to keep them for a while. So I was sitting in a go-go the other night I noticed a guy I had not seen in a while. I tried to make eye contact but he did not recognize me. No worries. I looked through my phone and realized I had his number. So I texted him a message.
Me: Loser
Him: You are the loser. Why don’t u get a life.
Me: I am not the loser from some_country sitting in a go-go bar alone. Or are u sitting with a guy?
Him: You are the loser texting me. Why don’t u find a new girl.
At that point I fell off my stool since clearly this guy had the wrong texter. So I went over to show myself in person and we both started laughing. Seems he thought I was the ex boyfriend of the girl he was with giving him shit over SMS. Bkk is that small at times.

Did the rounds of Nana on Sunday and Cowboy on Monday.
* Playskool - I remembered reading some positive things about Playskool in the past, but was unsure of what was so positive about it. About 10 p.m. found about eight women of modest attire on stage, with a couple cuter, thinner and Japanese-friendly ones on hand.
* Pretty Lady - Looking bored reached new levels of achievement among the girls working Pretty Lady this night. Six girls on stage, not entirely bad looking, doing the Chrome Pole Shuffle at half-speed. Still, was surprised to find there were no knickers under the skirts.
* Rainbow 4 — It was still before 11 on this Sunday night and it was stocked with hunnies. The vaunted Japanese population seemed down; or maybe they’d already been in and gone. One girl told me it was already too late and that 80 women had been barfined, with about 80 left to work the two stages.I sat between the two, in the center, and took in the marvelous recruits of the three elderly mamasans.
* G-Spot - I must have been there on a really off night. I walked in. Walked around the bar and walked back out. It takes a lot for me to do that, but it was truly that bad.
* Dollhouse — The 60-baht vodka tonic until 9:30 was a plus, but both the A and B teams were big minuses. Combined there was only one who even registered on The Ghostmeter, although a fat chick with huge gazangas did get a passing notice. All danced topless with no panties under their small skirts. Music, by the way, was very good with mainstream hip-hop and rock.
* Sheba’s — When I walked in a full-scale lesbo show was just “cuming” to a close. Unfortunately, the A team then left the stage for the bikini-clad, fat and dumpy B team. The A was good enough, though, to inspire me to stick around until they did their second set.
* Cowboy 2 — 80-baht draft all night and free popcorn are the only attractions and once both were gone, so was I.
* Joy Bar — Dreadful, but I can now confirm that blowies are avaialble here as well.

G-CLUB REPORT
Last night (Thursday) I went with three other guys out to the RESORT for their 5th anniversary party. I wasn’t prepared for what a big deal it was. Arrived at 10 p.m. and the place was packed solid.
There must have been 200 or 300 girls working. They were all in white dresses — many of them a see-through chiffon material.
I saw two of the most stunningly beautiful girls I’ve ever seen in my life working there as well. The first one walked past our table as we were talking, and all conversation stopped, all jaws dropped and every head swiveled as she walked by. Stupidly, none of us invited her to join us. We were all fucking speechless.
When the second beauty walked by, Dave rather quickly ran her down and invited her over. She had porcelain-smooth skin, a perfectly proportioned body, and perfect straight white teeth and a Chinese face. She turned out to be charming with good English as well. Great fun!
As to the party, they were pouring Hennessy whiskey for free, and giving away bottles of beer no charge. There were also some great costumes and choreographed shows. I took some photos of the dancing, but the pics were crap. Stupidly it never occurred to me to take pics of the beautiful hostesses at our table.
The four of us drank and ogled the girls till closing time.
One of the guys in the group is a member at Pegasus club and says that they have MODEL NIGHT scheduled for Tuesday the 23 Sep. If it’s anything like the Resort Party you’ll want to be there.

About the music at Rainbow 2, I agree that it has been pretty good lately. Okay, I went twice in the last week - one night they had a very cool 80’s mix, almost as if somebody knew what they were doing. The other time was more average. However, either they’ve fine-tuned the audio system or they put in a new speaker or bass box, but the music sounded great - loud but quality loud. Not sure if it was just my perception after being at a few places with crappy sound systems, but it sure sounded good.

w - I think we will have it on one of the TVS - since it appears to be on supersport given it is the final. supersport does not usually have all the game for AFL but they have the final. u can always email us for stuff like this since I don’t catch every comment given the 100’s per day.

Went to Soi 7 Beer Garden on Saturday. The place was rammed. There must have been at least 100 worn out, scar-bellied working girls there; most of them were squeezed into cheap, imitation clothing badly coordinated and bought in the market for 30 baht - some were wearing genuine polyester.
I saw some of the most gruesome creatures I have ever seen in my life - it was a little like looking at the orc army in one of the battle scenes in Lord of the Rings: the TGs were the small, contorted orcs and the farangs the larger and more odious orcs. One of the small orcs walked past my part of the bar and then stood right next to me: I was fucking speechless, quite grotesque!
She had pock-marked skin, breasts held up by a scaffold-like bra and teeth like Goofy. She turned out to be foul-mouthed but with good English, telling me she wanted to taste my sperm. Great fun!
I didn’t forget to take photos of her, I just didn’t bother as I don’t want anyone knowing what type of vagabond I was fornicating with.
I sipped at a beer Chang until she said she’d give me a freebie so long as I made her come. With that it was off to the Playboy Hotel to allow her to test her sperm tasting ability - “Ahh, yes. A ‘72, excellent year!”

After-hours: been at Spicy yesterday, they now have a Spicy II venue (called Swing) which is located just opposite and runs from 6 until 10 am. Apparently it has opened one month ago.

@mart: Thx for the update. The place opposite Spicy has been open after hours for a while. In fact, if memory serves me it was open before Spicy. It sounds like they are marketing it now a bit more and promoting the 6-10 angle which would be a good competitor to Lucky. It’s odd though that Spicy wouldn’t just stay open until 10am but maybe it’s a physical size of the club issue.
