Thursday Bar Update

Will call it as I see it:

Patpong closed but Safari and Madrid are open - as well as the Duke of Wellington.

Nana area closed but there are some bars and pubs on suk soi 4 open. Big Mango open - that is all that matters. :)

Cowboy open until midnight but might be all shut down tomorrow.

Around town it seems a lot of pubs and restaurants are open but beer bars and such are not.

It could be even worse tomorrow but I don’t know why since today is the actual holiday.

Please add to the comments if you have an fresher news. Thanks!

The Bar in Hassi Messaoud will be open at 7pm. Selling a wide range of cans of Tango and some cheap and nasty Algerian fucking piss called wine.

No tarts. Plenty of camels. Bring your own crate to sit on.

@PMMP & Smitty - Do you have a pool team @ the Mango?
And do the burgers taste ‘Exactly the same’, as at the old Mango? I still to this day have not found a better tasting burger. Although sometimes I used to have a Nana burger at 2 in the morning when p***ed. I always knew when I had one, as my glasses were always covered in steamed grease the next morning!

Had an absolutely quenching 80 baht heineken on ice on the steps of Rajah Fashions last night.

Took the last gulp just as they were throwing me off to set up that impromptu “sit on a mat and eat isaan food with an egg on it” restaurant.

    Does that count as open?
