On Burma: http://www.amazon.com/Finding-George-Orwell-Burma-Larkin/dp/1594200521 The book is written under pseudonym... pretty good description of the place and interesting background on colonial SE Asia. Had to chuckle at the paragraphs dealing with colonials dalliances with local womenfolk.

Re: Damn I saw a ton of fat girls. Was scary. Is this what England is like?

While I was in LOS, my wife, yes you heard me right, went out in town not too far away from where we live in the UK. I sms'd her to see how her night was. "Full of stinky, sweaty fat f**ks" was the response. Sms'd her back to see who she was on about. "The women", came the sms back!
Now I am not saying all English women are like this, but there are more than you would believe!

I get BJs from LBs for free. Got 1 last night infact.

KSR is good for a change of pace every now and again. I went there a few nights back, hit The Club and me and a mate were 1 of the maybe 10people in there. Then i ducked into Lava which was busy with pumping Hip-hop. Headed into Gazebo for some after hours action and got some Australian knickers down at the end of the night for my efforts.
Randomly bumped into some Emo bitch that added me on facebook - got some digits and made a date. Love this country

Heh heh, nice one Smitty! U should combine the troll-effects into one item and respond to OAH (always appreciate yr comments, OAH: Dean Stockwell wd be proud) by saying that the cheapest blowjobs in Bangkok are at the "Burma-Tibet Vegan Guesthouse" on KSR, from exceptionally fat ("think chubby-chaser Orca-fat Jabba the Hutt sumo-dames") backpackers down on their luck: 195 baht. Even cheaper if emaciated-on-birdseed male backpacker-species get to watch the hubba-bubba action.

I'll spin some troll-bait: what amazes me about KSR is the search for "real" Thai culture which must always be accompanied by email access, hair-braiding salons and fruit smoothies. The obsessional-yet-compartmentalized frugality of some backpackers borders on mental illness: they'll wash down their KSR 100-baht khao phat jeh with mass quantities of overpriced imported beer yet pack like lemmings into overcrowded minibuses to save 50 baht on a 12-hour journey.

Strange species.

oah: 200 baht from one of the dark shadows Ladyboys under the Suk Soi 0 bridge is the cheapest I've heard of so far. It wasn't me btw. I would have surely gotten it down to 150.

>>"...BUT please no politics on the blog even if it is yours."

Yeah, Smitty, for Christ's sake, stick to the subjects that most of the people who offer comments on this blog seem to care about. Like where to find the cheapest blow job in Thailand.

Khao san roads not that bad and definitely makes a change now and again. They have some good roof bars and hip-hop clubs. Normally have some Japanese birds about to try to pull too. As for the taxi's I will only get in a taxi that doesn't run the meter if I can smoke. Most let you. Worth the extra 40 baht for me.
