Remember folks I wrote about some of the new blogs and how they may be just a little bit too much. Looks like one of the bloggers idiot culture has bailed. Wonder what happened…

I saw that blog was taken down. I wonder if he got fed up and finally moved his butt back to his home country. Or if the gov’t got wind of it and told him to stop (but seeing as some of them don’t even know what a computer is, never mind how to operate one- I wonder if that second scenerio took place).

c - they are pretty up on this stuff and they know how to block stuff but usually the blocking will come from the Ministry of culture department if they think it is bad for thais to see. I am sure big government officials who might see a blog they don’t like could easily get them removed.

The guy who wrote the Idiot Culture blog was sharp and frequently funny, but he was also obviously a really angry guy. Thailand can do that to you. This is a ridiculous place. If you’re actually trying to accomplish something rather than just drifting along day to day (uh…no offense, Mango guys), it’s easy to get well and truly pissed off at almost everything you see around you and your inability to effect it.
I envied whoever this was having the energy to write about being so pissed off. I haven’t got it.
