Evidently not content with offering the cheapest beer, best food and friendliest atmosphere in Nana Plaza, the Big Mango Bar crew are hosting their second birthday party this Saturday 1st September.

gutted im back in UK fucking working, have been for last 2 weeks and its killing me. i love big mango, the nachos are to die for and good football coverage - my saturday nights just arent the same now
I know its far away but any plans for new year eve at mango? i fly back xmas day an looking for somewhere to go new years eve? i've enver done new years in bangers before, only phuket - any recommendations? i got 5 mates coming over aswell so im playing host so need to put on a good show- toss up between Pattaya or BKK (group of 23-25year olds)

How about a tour of the temples, followed by a shopping expedition to J-J market? You could wind down with a trip down the river, followed by a stroll through Chinatown.

instead of marvelling at the insides of a buddhist temple i envisaged marvelling at the insides of a shortime room as 6 of us pile into 9 P4P girls

BBB, legendary performance last night at the party. The Bangkok Virgin (guy in bkk for the first time) you brought by kept muttering "This is so surreal. This is so surreal". Might fine job.
You probably don't remember but you guys came back later with some extremely hot TG's. You guys were pretty smashed so I hope you were able to take care of biz.

The blog about the big mango might be the wrong place to say it, but I generally find myself at Soi Cowboy at Christmas and NYE… for some reason the outdoor setting just seems to lend itself more to the communal celebration. The street is usually full of girls dressed in very modern or very traditional costumes. I generally enjoy walking down the street playing Santa giving small gifts to any girl who assures me she has been naughty all year.
Typically the bars are open til sunrise on NYE and barfines are double or triple to stop girls from barfining themselves. It's generally pretty rockin'. That said, I'd certainly do my warmup at Big Mango happy hour before making the move to Cowboy.
The 2nd year party at the Mango was a kick-ass night. One guy from Perth came in with three girls from Pattaya on his arm. I found one of them particularly appealing so I asked her if she wanted to come back to visit BKK and she said "I'd like to but I don't have any friends or sisters here." I clarified that I meant she could stay with me, and was rewarded with an immediate smile and enthusiastic nodding of the head. We traded phone numbers and made arrangements for her to come visit me in Bangkok next weekend (with the full awareness and approval of the Aussie punter who seemed happy to share his bounty). Good fellowship abounds at the Mango!
