I dropped into Baccara recently to check out the much-vaunted “lesbian show”. As if this bar couldn’t get any better, these shows (Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm) really are the icing on the cake.
Already the best gogo bar in Soi Cowboy, is Baccara now the best gogo bar in Bangkok? I’ll concede, Patpong’s Camelot Castle and Nana Plaza’s Rainbow 1, 2 & 4 probably have the pick of the “superstar” girls. But Baccara is no slouch in that area, with some real stunners on view, and none of the prima donna attitude prevalent in its competitors. It’s also the only one of these bars to stock imported Belgian beers, and for me at least, the shows top it off.
Baccara’s only downside is the capacity, I suppose. I got there early to catch the show, bagged a table facing the stage, then had my view completely blocked as the bar filled up, with a crowd of pissed-up blokes choosing to stand right next to the stage railings, ogling the action. Fortunately for them, Baccara’s Belgian beers are rather too expensive to justify throwing them at the heads of view-blockers…

Baccara has the nicest girls on Cowboy, tiny things in uniforms sans knickers upstairs. Downside, it is expensive. It caters to Japanese men and those guys are willing to pay a premium.

Everyone is surely aware that the capacity problem has been dealt with by taking over "Pam's" next door, making the bar almost double it's previous size. I reckon Dollhouse is pushing Baccara hard lately for the best looking lineup of girls.

For what it's worth - I think that Dollhouse has probably the best series of peaks in Bangkok — an admirable bevy of bouncing breasts that enlivens any evening out…………….
