I think that the “stunner” you are referring to in Fanny’s Bar is Kate. She was a very good friend of mine for almost 2 years. Back in early 2006 she went back to work at Fanny’s and met some guy from Holland. She is now madly in love with him!!!
Kate looks great on your arm but she was never very good in the sack!
Incidentally, girls behind he bar will go on a bar fine if they like you and provided there is someone at the bar to cover for them.

…..have you tried the Bacchus Bar on Soi 33? The bar itself is not much ‘kop’ but as of Mid August they had 2 lovely girls in there, ‘Tar’ and ‘Far’. I had a few great nights with both of them….
Also… have a look at ‘O’ who works across the street at the Van Gough. She speaks vey good English and she is gorgeous!! Unfortunately I didn’t get very far with her after several nights of trying…..

When I went into Fannys during the low season in September around 1am it was empty. I think I was probably the only guy in there. I was immediately set upon by 3 women who were on to me before I had even sat down. One clearly had bad teeth but had a slim body and the second was forgettably plain and unattractive. While the second held on to my arm the first gyrated wildly against me and kept lifting up her dress to show her panties and acting as though she was mad for some sort of sex action. A third girl who definitely had a glass eye because her eyes kept pointing in different directions tried to join in.
There were all asking me to buy them ladies drinks. One of the ladies behind the bar who observed that I had the look of a man under seige couldn’t help laughing to herself as she had obviously seen all this time and time again.
Now I have nothing against people with disfigurements and I would not have minded being caressed by 3 women at the same time but there was no way that I was going to pay hard earnt money for the company of a woman with one eye. I therefore held up two fingers to indicate that I could only afford to buy two of them drinks. The third girl seemed to realise that this was a reasonable view for me to take and reluctantly slouched off to another part of the bar.
The girls suggested that I go to the office and as I thought that I should try everything at least once I agreed. However, the word office was a bit of a misnomer as it is not a separate room as I would have expected but just a couple of seats to the side of the bar where hand jobs can given away from the immediate view of everyone in the bar - although anyone going to the toilet would be able to see everything.
Although there were no decent looking girls in the bar (by most peoples’s criteria they would be classed as either unattractive or ugly) they were definitely game and willing to please. For example, they were happy to act like lesbians (snogging and kissing each other’s bodies) for the price of a lady drink. It cost a few hundred baht for a handjob which would only be value for money if you were so desparate for release that you felt that you could not wait to go to a short time room.

Aside from a rather noire-ish “scrap of paper” interlude about a month back posted on the newly revived Mango Sauce comments section, my own Soi 33 experiences are, by and large, second hand.
The silly regulars these “artist bars” (the concept alone reeks of bullshit) have all been pretentious wankers who patronizingly made for me the distinction between these prostitutes and the other prostitutes everywhere else.
There was Scott the young-ish Jordie, boiler-room Lorne, self-described “Lock, Stock & two flaming assholes” types from the “better language schools” and your garden variety prodigiously pretentious arsehole Hong Kong based Brit expat.
Their stories have all been about how they simply got a better class of attention/conversation from a better class of ricetart (Dcr) I’ve been getting this same jive from guys like this for about 15 years. (and from Stickman regarding HIS own life, now mercifully out of our purview for the time being, for 7) It’s usually from “Manfred” guys that last 2-3 years here. From punters who need to take their clients and visitors to the better places lest they betray their own gutter-ish tases by proxy to the folks back at head office.
Aside from the odd oily and the odd sit and observe cartoon on soi 33 I have little or no patience for this sad quartier.
So I naturally, by all indications that have ever produced any results in my other great passion, steelhead fishing with wet/dry stoneflies, its time for another cruise.

See, Prufers, this is what you do best. Rise above the personal vendetta stuff - or at least step to one side - and we all have more fun.
As to BBB’s aloof “why pay for a wank” stance: why pay for anything? Let’s spool through those compelling Top Ten reasons to pay (even a one-eyed bar-tramp) for one off the wrist:
1 You can afford it
2 It’s fun, in a sleazy kind of way
3 You probably wouldn’t enjoy bringing yourself off in those circumstances anyway. Plus, the management may resent you “bringing your own bottle”
4 You’re a lazy, nogood bum
5 It’s on the menu
6 Hey! You have a few minutes before that big, important meeting
7 It’s what they do; let them do it
8 It’s kind of interesting, you know, in an experimental, existential way? How far one can debase oneself and yet retain that coolly dispassionate, almost detached, view of the experience that raises it above the level of mere carnal gratification that peculiarly obsesses the “common herd”

My experiences with Soi33 have been good - most recently I walked there late one night right off a long haul plane. The idea was I would have a beer, take a look around, and go home. I sat at the bar and talked to a couple of bartenders, just lite stuff, no innuendo or anything, and come closing time, next thing I know, one of them grabbed my hand and told me, ‘I come with you’. Was quite surprised to say the least, as I was not on the prowl. There was no bar fine, and although I took her on a shopping trip at Robinsons, she refused any cash compensation. And, she ended up staying at my place for about a week!!!!
Also, a friend of mine found a gem in one of the bars, we met at my place late one night and he had this girl with him who had a truly phenomenal body; she had really nice clothes too, and I thought she was a ‘model’ or something until he told me, ‘Soi 33′. According to his ulterior report, she made his night quite unforgettable.

We’re drifting seriously off-topic here - Fanny’s isn’t even ON Soi 33.
