Angelwitch in Nana Plaza has now become one of the very best value-for-money bars in Bangkok. House drinks are still only 130 Baht, but some bars in Soi Cowboy are now charging a hefty 140 Baht per drink. Angelwitch has without any doubt the most professional choreographed shows in Thailand. Incidentally, to prove this Angelwitch Bangkok was voted “Best Go-Go Bar” for 3 years in a row. Packed every night at showtime (10:15pm until 1:00am) the sucess of Angelwitch is very evident on a nightly basis. Most guys say that Angelwitch is by far the very best Show Bar in Thailand. How do we know Angelwitch is the best? Too many bars are trying to copy the shows but without success.

3 bars out of the 30+ bars on Cowboy charge 140 baht for a beer. Most charge 115-125 for bottles, and some charge as little as 40 baht for draught beers during happy “hour” (6.30-9pm I believe).
Don’t get me wrong - I like Angelwitch, and it deserves to be successful - which it is. I just prefer the rather more interesting shows at eg. Playskool, Suzie Wong, Sheba’s etc, where you actually get to see something. Different strokes for different folks. Angelwitch for choreography, Peter’s bars for filth!
And it’s a bit rich criticising bars for copying Angelwitch - should we tell the readers where the Angelwitch shows are

I don’t mind saying. They are copied song by song and step by step from Jupiter 2000. The largest male gogo bar in Bangkok. Not a huge fan but by comparison at least at Jupiter 2000 they get naked during their shows.
Oh well. I did it for research. Trust me…
