The FARANG Speaks 2 Much

The Coup provided a bit of excitement in the middle of what is now low season. It’s the best of times and worst of times for me. Bad for business even though it hasn’t been that bad. Good for the social life as there are swarms of women roaming the streets, clubs, and bars. Even a slug like me becomes a valuable commodity in low season. I was crossing over Sukhumvit the other night and it was me and about fifty women. I almost cried. I know, you remote guys hate me for mentioning this. Sorry, just telling you how it is. It’s not a reality like any another on the planet which is exactly why I’m here.

NEP
- Mercury. The surprise of the week. Exhausted and bored with NEP’s offerings a friend and I decided to try out Mercury. We had an awesome time. There were some attractive ladies that were also extremely friendly. Reminded me of the still closed Pretty Lady. Girls with sweet mouthes, sweet eyes, flirtatious, and when they they got on our laps it was go time. They were a bit pushy on the drinks and bar fining but easy enough to ignore and continue the lap grinding festivities.
- G-Spot. A surprising number of attractive ladies. Not a big fan of G-spot because it’s the same old same old but there was some eye candy. A buddy of mine went on a different night and wasn’t too impressed.
- Fantasia. My first visit. So lame. There were two ladies over 50 on stage, I kid you not. Out of the 15 or so girls working there I wouldn’t bar fine one of them. The place was very clean but pretty empty given the talent and two-step’ing bored go-go dancers.
- Spanky’s. My first visit. Two or three lookers but was a one drink and out experience. The place was a bit chaotic, old and cheesy. No reason to go back for sure.
- Farang Connection. My first visit. They take the crown for the worst go-go in NEP. You couldn’t direct a scarier scene. Tiny, diry and music was terrible. I walked in and there was an anorexic and an old wrinkled tiny girl. Quickest U-turn I ever made.
- Carnival. Horrible.
Soi Cowboy
Baccarat. Second floor is always a good time from pure vision value. Lots of girls. Small black school girl skirts, no undies and at many time topless. Plus they really get their groove on. As usual - don’t see any reason to pull here but enjoy the bouning boobs for a bit.
Long Gun. The place needs remodeling. Could use a new bathroom. U know they make enough money for it. Either way though when it comes to a nice array of girls, usually totally naked and some decent - naked shows - Long Gun is not bad for the eyeballs. Seems to be some new faces on the stage and the shows kick off at 9 now. As usual around 10 the joint is packed out.
Patpong
Club Electric Blue. Probably has some of the better looking girls in Patpong and with a few stunners and a good proporation of larges breats. However u have to look out for your bill since they have tried to pull fats ones in the past but I think that was one particular service girl. The only thing I get tired of at Electric Blue is the random girls who come and ask for a drink. Girls u did not invite over and girls who don’t even say high but ask for a drink anyway. Bar fine is 500 baht. Additionally, I just heard about a Punter getting a major shaft from an Electric Blue girl. He has been with MANY working girls but said this was the first time he was with a true whore. Phony moaning, empty compliments/flirting, and asked for 4000 baht at the end of a very average romp. A skanky, raisin tit, snaggle tooth whore is what he called her. Reeks of Patpong.
Camelot’s Castle. Not much to look at from the inside or out but this place is rammed with girls and some cute ones at that. The music is good and pretty much anywhere u sit u get a nice view. The girls seem to leave u alone and basically don’t come over unless asked. When u order drinks, lady drinks or not, they show u the bill and ask u to sign it. Seems like a pain at first but u come to appreciate it given all the scams in Patpong. I think this bar uses this as a way to stand out against all the bars with the crazy billing problems.
CM2 in the Novotel
Continues to pack them in every night. Reminds one of the HK scene with normal folks, bf/gf, mixed in with locals and freelancers. There are plenty of girls roaming around in there and it looks pretty easy to find an available companion. I get tired of the hotel bands though and the room without the band is hit or miss but CM2 stays open until 2 - sometimes 3 and is pretty packed with chicks. Additionally, you will find the highest concentration of Russian and Eastern European freelancers here. There are probably 40-50 at any given time which is about equal to the amount of Thai freelancers there.

After Hours Update
- Tequila Dragon on Suk Soi 7/1. Blowing away the competition. They have been packing in the crowd. Great music, great service, and plenty of available ladies.
- Soi Tunnel, Sanook Bar. Rest in peace. They didn’t listen and now they are dead. Idiot management. They now leave two pool tables going late. This has essentially killed the after hours feel. Wanting them to get back in the game we pleaded with them to visit Tequila Dragon. Do the same you morons. It’s not rocket science.
- Boss Club. Tried it before I did not like it but I can see how stopping in from time to time one might chance upon some fresh meat. Place is basically empty until about 1:00 and then people trickle in. U get all sorts here which is why some people may not like it but there does seem to be a steady trickly of Thai girls coming in pairs or as a group looking for a good time. There is some white meat in there as well if one feels the urge but I forgot to bring my rope. I am sure if one ever saw the Boss Club in the daylight it will be revealed as a major dump that it is but with being open late and serving booze - the Boss Club does attract some girls. It does get too crowded sometimes and the staff blows so be prepared for that nonsense.

Tales From The Street
Tale 1: Punter A told me about this bargirl that he was seeing every so often. One day in the shower he noticed she was missing a toe. He said he was "with" her over ten times and this was the first time he noticed the missing toe. I’m not making this stuff up folks.
Tale 2: I hear many guys talk about going after waitress, cashiers, bartenders, etc. Basically every one in a beer bar or go-go that isn’t a lady drink girl or go-go dancer. Many guys think the lady drink and go-go girls are like shooting fish in a barrel and want the challenge of getting a "regular" girl. Well, the latest fetish comes from Punter A that is fixated on Mamasans. Nicest guy you want to meet. I’ve spoken with him many times while he is in the bar and did hear a trend in who he likes taking but got to see it first hand. We visited a local go-go and a go-go girl jumped on him right off the bat but you could tell his thoughts were elsewhere. When the Mamasan strolled by he was all over it and quickly asked her if she wanted a drink. Mamasans do carry this air of authority and generally they have to be pretty tough and smart to manage and mediate bargirls and customers. Makes sense that he finds them attractive. Never ended up with a Mamasan personally but might be worth a try.
Tale 3: I was out with some friends for a birthday celebration and we were getting pretty lit. The birthday boy told me about one of his friends being a drunkard who usually does something to maintain his drunkard reputation. Sure enough he lived up to the billing. So smashed, he passed out and fell off his bar stool. As the wait staff picked him up off the floor he had two fingers up asking for two more drinks. It was quite amazing.
