Part One - 6 Weeks in Phuket
So I arrived in Phuket after an agonizing 4 day trip from the Maldives, excited as ever but I was working for the first 6 weeks. I spent most of the time in Patong Beach, although I did get to sail to about 6 others Islands including Koh Rok which was beautiful but quiet. Patong Beach was a lot better this time round, well I guess it would be without a girlfriend. She was on the Island and we were supposed to meet up but she couldn’t see me. Something about no taxi’s in Ra Wai (South Phuket). Ra Wai is a Thai part of Phuket with a quiet beach and lots of good seafood/BBQ places that’s very cheap and worth a trip. I discovered this because I decided to check her claim, there’s was an abundance of taxi’s there. Note to self - Idiot. I instantly wrote her off as being with a sponsor and decided I was single again. A good move especially as I was out most night with a bunch of lads.

Yo folks. Picked this nice search term off of the blog the other day coming in from the borg:
find contacts of 3some girls in Thailand
Yeah dude. It is that easy. Type that into google and up pops phone numbers of beautiful Thai girls waiting to satisfy your every 3some need. Get in there.
Hit Santika last night for a couple drinks. I dig the late band there and the eye candy at Santika never lets you down. I am always stunned at the numbers of tables that have only girls and the number of old Thai dudes strolling in with there entourage of young Thai hotties. You gotta love it. The no-smoking policy was in force and it was nice. Saw 2 movie stars and more ass than I could handle. To the white dude who came alone. Never go to Santika without a wingmen. You won’t get anything there going alone. The dude actually thought he could hang with me cause I had 2 girls and did not quite get the they are both with me explanation. Loser.

Remember folks I wrote about some of the new blogs and how they may be just a little bit too much. Looks like one of the bloggers idiot culture has bailed. Wonder what happened…

Say what you will folks but one needs a breakfast from time to time and I don’t eat rice soup. So from time to time a proper egg mcmuffin will do. For a while there mc donalds took care of us and did the right thing by offering in Thailand the real breakfast menu. Then they effed up and screwed up the bread. Either way. The sausage mcmuffin is the bomb and the inventor has passed away. A moment of silence please.

Been a little under the weather folks but thanks to the blog and morefun I self-medicated. Anyway. Small Mango update. Well before one can build a new bar you have to tear out the old bar but it was not really a bar before. Let’s just say we have some serious destruction before we can start building the new mango. This pic is the 2nd floor looking out onto Soi Mango. More soon…

Imagine the scene. You are sitting at an outside bar at Nana Plaza with your 72-year-old mother. Outside a nearby go-go bar, service staff in school uniforms take a fag break. Your mother turns to you with a quizzical expression and asks with the innocence of old age: “Why are those girls wearing school uniforms?”
It is at such moments that you question your sanity in inviting your mother to spend two months in Thailand and escape the British winter, but I believe I rose to the challenge. “They must be on a school trip, mum,” I told her. She nodded in agreement.

editor’s forward:
I used to go to Tokyo a lot for business. Back in the boom days of enterprise software sales the main account I helped with in Tokyo was NTT DoCoMo. Our software was used for the back end that kept track of what the customer was using and helped to generate the bills. The more DoCoMo grew the more software we sold. The DoCoMo sales rep essentially would show up once a quarter and take an order. Sick money.
So one evening after a night getting the DoCoMo team completely pissed on saki the sales rep and I headed out to Nishi Azabu for some drinking off the clock. He said he had a new place to take me to. I honestly can’t remember how we got to the place but we walked down some back alley and came upon a non-desrcript door. He used a card with a chip on it and held it to a sensor on the door. The door opened and we walked into a hallway that lead to another door.

Well the crackdown continues. Not sure what else to say but everything appears to be closing anywhere from 1-3 in the morning. Some people said Spicy was starting to stay open late but even places like NEP and Cowboy are closing at 1. So lame. Discuss on the forum if u have anything to add.
People have been saying this is all going to blow over but I don’t think so. Look what is happening in Pattaya. Now that they will keep the after-hours scene from getting going - what will they do to keep the girls off of the streets?
Dumb things. It’s pretty easy in Thailand to write about the dumb things. So easy I mostly stopped but I found a new dumb thing and I can’t pass it up.
Here are some previous dumb things I wrote about.
Alcohol advertising ban. Sour candies to save drowsy motorists. Minister of Tech who does not use email.
